The tracking barely updated the whole time, and my package ended up arriving late. When I reached out to support, it kind of felt like they were blaming me for not checking the updates properly, even though there weren’t really any updates to check. Frustrating experience overall.
"Good lures, but the value isn’t really there"
I’ve always liked Rapala gear, and the site is simple enough to browse, but the prices on Rapala don’t really live up to the idea that you’re getting some kind of better direct deal. It kind of feels like they make it sound more worthwhile than it actually is, because I can often find the same stuff at local shops for the same price or cheaper when there’s a sale.
Shipping doesn’t help either, unless you’re buying a lot at once. The quality is still good and I don’t have any real complaints about the lures themselves, but for what they charge, I expected the overall value to match the promise a bit more. I’ll probably still order once in a while, but it’s definitely not the first place I check anymore.

"I don’t know what’s going on with..."
I don’t know what’s going on with this site, but it was frustrating. Pages took forever to load, the filters didn’t really narrow anything down properly, and checkout kept glitching on me?? I just wanted to place an order, but it turned into way more of a hassle than it should’ve been.

"I was excited to try..."
I was excited to try these out and expected them to get some bites, but after using them all weekend, the fish just didn’t seem interested at all. Maybe they work better in other spots or conditions, but for me they didn’t live up to what I was hoping for.
"Maybe I Expected Too Much From These Lures"
I ordered a couple of lures from rapala.ca and, i thought they’d be a bit tougher for the price. Maybe I’m being picky, but I’ve used Rapala stuff before and had higher expectations going in.
They looked great when I first took them out of the box, so I was happy at first. But after just a few fishing trips, the paint was already chipping more than I expected, and one of the hooks started bending. It’s not like I was hauling in anything massive either, just regular use.
Shipping was totally fine, so no complaints there. I’m just not sure if I got unlucky or if the quality has changed, but these didn’t feel as durable as I remember. I’d probably think twice before buying again unless they improve a bit.

"The return and warranty process was literally a mess"
I tried sending in a warranty claim i never got any real help. The whole returns and warranty process felt confusing and frustrating, and I was literally left waiting with no proper support.

"Got the wrong lure color"
I ordered three lures, but one showed up in the wrong color. The packing slip had the correct item listed, so I’m not really sure where it went wrong. Customer service did respond, but I still had to wait around for the replacement. It was just kind of annoying, especially when I was ready to get out and fish. Seems like a preventable mix-up.

I remember support being much more responsive before, but this time it took days just to get an answer. It was frustrating having to wait that long for a reply
